What does an employee need Proplanum for?
Proplanum is the one place where you check your schedule, track your working time, submit a leave request and keep up with changes — instead of calling HR or your supervisor. Below you will find what you get out of it as an employee and what you can do once you log in.
The key benefits
- Access from anywhere — you use the schedule and your work information through a browser and from your phone, wherever you are.
- Notifications as things happen — you find out about a new schedule, changes to it, a new task and a decision on a request straight away.
- A real say in the schedule — you report your availability and unavailability, so your supervisor lays out the shifts with your preferences in mind.
- Less paperwork — leave requests and your allowance of days off are in one place, with no forms and no phone calls to HR.
What you can do once you log in
- Check the schedule — see your next shifts and working hours. See Checking your schedule.
- Track your working time and breaks — start and finish shifts and clock breaks. See Starting and finishing a shift.
- Submit a leave request — pick the kind of leave and send the request for approval. See Submitting a leave request.
- Report unavailability — mark the days and hours you cannot work. See Reporting unavailability.
- Manage tasks — receive and tick off the tasks assigned to you. See Task management.
- Update your profile — change your personal details, language and password. See Logging in and updating your profile.
- Get in touch with your supervisor — write to them on the chat. See Chat.
Why it is worth having the app on your phone
You can do everything above in a browser, but the mobile app keeps it in your pocket. The phone gains you the most when:
- you want a notification straight away about a new schedule, changed hours or a decision on a request — without checking a computer,
- you track your working time at your place of work rather than at a desk,
- you need to glance at the schedule or submit a request quickly while you are out.
