Planning shifts from your phone
A schedule cannot always be fixed at a desk. When somebody drops out on a Saturday morning, the phone is the only tool at hand — which is why the app lets you not only browse the schedule, but also add a shift and publish corrections.
Schedule views
The Schedule tab has three staffing views: Day, 3-day and Month. The Day view shows the location's staffing with live attendance status.

The 3-day view puts three days side by side with people's initials.

The Month view gives the total number of shifts for each day; tapping a day returns you to the day view.

Creating a shift
The plus button on the schedule opens the new shift form: employee, position, date and hours.

If your company plans work without fixed hours, switch the mode to shift length only.

Actions on an existing shift
The shift card holds the full set of actions: edit, hand over as an open shift, find a replacement and publish.

The "Publish" action only appears on drafts.
Bulk publication
Instead of publishing shift by shift, you can publish every draft in the range you are looking at with a single confirmation.
