Do I need constant Wi-Fi access?

The Proplanum mobile app does not require a constant internet connection throughout your working time. Access to a network at the key moments is enough — data synchronises with every connection. This applies to all users of the app.

Internet access for an Employee

As an Employee you need an internet connection at a few moments:

at the start and at the end of a shift,
while recording breaks,
periodically, to check for schedule changes.

Important: Even without a constant connection your working hours are recorded and counted correctly — they synchronise once you regain network access.

Internet access for management roles

The Organisation Administrator, Location Manager and Advisor only need a periodic internet connection in order to:

monitor the schedule and any changes made,
handle requests and tasks,
use chat and communication.

Security and data usage

The Proplanum app uses very little data. Monthly usage depends mainly on how often information is published and refreshed.

Tip: Use trusted Wi-Fi networks and avoid open, unsecured connections.
