Working offline and synchronisation

Signal in a warehouse, a production hall or a basement has a habit of disappearing at the worst moment. The app is ready for that: data downloaded earlier stays on the phone, so you can still see your schedule and tasks, and whatever you do offline syncs once the connection is back.

What you see with no signal

When the app loses its connection, an information bar appears above the content. Screens keep working — they show the last downloaded data.

Once the connection is back, the bar changes to a synchronisation message and disappears when the data is up to date.

Important: Time tracking with GPS verification requires a connection. With no signal the app cannot confirm your location and will not let you start a shift.

What is worth doing before a shift

  • open the app while you have signal — it will download a fresh schedule and tasks,
  • if you clock in at a KIOSK terminal, you do not need the phone at all.

Tip: The QR code for KIOSK is displayed without a connection — open "My profile""Show code".

When data gets out of step

If something looks out of date after your signal returns, pull the screen down to refresh. If that does not help, sign out and sign back in — the app will download the data from scratch.

Caution: Signing out clears the data held on the phone. Only do it when you have signal, otherwise you will be left without a schedule until the connection returns.
