The subscription models
After registering with Proplanum you have full access for 21 days as part of the trial — every feature of the package you chose is unlocked. When the trial ends, you pick the billing model that suits your company best. This article explains what subscription models are available and how they differ.
What happens after the trial
After the 21 days of the trial you decide how you want to pay for Proplanum. You pick a package (the level of features) and a billing model — monthly or annual. You make the choice in the "Your subscription" portal, which you reach through the left sidebar → the "Billing" entry (at the bottom).
The subscription models
Whichever package you choose, you can be billed under one of two models.
Monthly
Billing takes place every month.
- With a card added, the amount is taken automatically at every renewal; with no card, you pay for the period by hand with the "Pay for the next period" button.
- You keep full flexibility: you change the plan or the number of seats mid-month.
- A good choice when headcount changes dynamically and you want short, renewable periods.
Annual
The subscription covers 12 months.
- It is more economical — the rate per seat is lower than in the monthly model.
- The price per seat stays the same all year.
- Top-ups during the year (for example after buying extra seats or moving to a higher plan) are settled immediately as a pro-rata charge.
- A good choice when the number of employees is stable and you want to bring the cost per seat down.
How the monthly model differs from the annual one
- The length of the period — the monthly one renews every month, the annual one covers 12 months.
- The price per seat — it is lower in the annual model.
- The stability of the rate — in the annual model the price per seat stays the same all year; in the monthly one you are billed at the current rate each month.
- Flexibility of changes — in both models plan upgrades and extra seats are available straight away and settled immediately; lowering the plan or the seat limit takes effect from the next period.
