The queue of shifts to approve

Your team's swap and give-away requests do not get lost among notifications — they collect on a separate screen with a counter in the bar. Open shifts land there next to them, that is, the ones still short of staff.

The "To approve" screen

You get there from the dashboard, from the "Shifts to approve" row. Tabs at the top narrow the list down to a specific kind.

Every card carries the full set of information needed for a decision, so in most cases you do not even have to open it.

Shift swap

A swap card shows both sides and both shifts, who submitted the request and what the position is.

Shift give-away

For a give-away you see the person who wants to give the shift away, plus the candidates to cover it.

Open shifts

An open shift is one you handed over to the team instead of assigning it to a specific person. When handing it over you set who should see it.

Until somebody claims it, you handle the card yourself — with the "Assign" button.

Important: Visibility is set separately for each open shift — you can show it to the whole location or only to a chosen group.

Decision and confirmation

Approval reduces the counter and corrects both people's schedules straight away. Rejection asks for confirmation so that it does not happen by accident.

When the queue is empty, the screen says so plainly.

Remember: How an employee submits a swap or give-away request is described in Swapping and giving away a shift.
