Starting and ending a shift
Proplanum makes managing working hours easier with precise time tracking tools. Here’s how you can start and end your shift using various available methods.
Proplanum offers various methods for time tracking:
Mobile App
NFC or RFID Cards (when KIOSK is activated)
PIN for KIOSK
Important: If your employer requires location to be enabled when tracking time, make sure to enable location on your phone before logging in
Open the Proplanum app and log in to your account.
The time tracking panel is located at the top of the "Dashboard" tab. This screen is visible immediately after logging into the app.
Click the “Start Work” button when you begin your shift. The clock will track your working time.
If you want to end your shift, select "Stop Time". Confirm the action in the new window.
Remember: Your supervisor can schedule breaks (paid or unpaid) in your schedule. These breaks will be considered when recording working time. You can find more about this in the article "Breaks at work"
You will also have the option to record unscheduled shifts if your employer decides so. Then, a new message will appear when you start work.
If your company uses a card reader system, you can record your working time using NFC or RFID cards. You can do this in a few simple steps:
If you want to start or end your working time, approach the reader.
Simply place your card on the reader, and your working time will be automatically recorded.
If your company has enabled the KIOSK method for logging work time, you can use it to start and end your shift.
Approach the reader and enter your PIN code.
The available options will be displayed on the screen. Choose what you want to do, depending on whether you want to start or end your shift.
Tip: If you don't remember your PIN code, you can check it on your account in the "My Profile" tab both on your phone and through the web browser.
Important: If you need to change your KIOSK PIN code, contact your supervisor, who will be able to generate a new code.
With Proplanum, managing work time is simple and effective, regardless of the chosen logging method.
