Managing payment cards

A payment card lets subscription renewals be paid automatically — you just add a card and set it as the default, and the system takes what is due without your involvement. Here you add a new card, remove one that is out of date and decide which card the payments come from.

Cards are managed by the Organisation Administrator alone.

Where to manage cards

  1. In the left-hand menu go to "Billing" (at the bottom) — the "Your subscription" portal will open.
  2. In the right-hand column find the "Next payment" section.
  3. Click "Manage cards" — the "Payment methods" window will appear with a list of the cards added.

Adding a card

  1. In the "Payment methods" window click "Add card".
  2. In the "Add a new card" form enter the card details — the form is handled securely by Stripe.
  3. Confirm with the "Add" button.

Add a new card

You enter the card details directly in the secure Stripe form — Proplanum does not store the full card number.

The default card and removing cards

You can have several cards added and set one of them as the default with the "Set as default" button. It is the default card that subsequent subscription renewals are taken from.

To remove a card, pick it from the list and confirm the removal.

Caution: If you want to remove the default card, set another card as the default first. Renewals charge the default card — with no card indicated, the automatic payment will not go through.
