Articles on: Using Proplanum as an Employee

I forgot to clock in or out — what do I do?

In a rush it is easy to forget to record the start or end of a shift in the RCP (time tracking) system. Nothing bad happens — you just tell your supervisor and they correct your hours.

Tell your supervisor

The best answer is to pass the information to your supervisor as soon as you can — a short message saying you did not record your working time is enough. On that basis they will correct your hours in the system.

You use the chat mainly in the mobile app of Proplanum (the "Chat" tab) — the browser version has no separate chat tab for employees. The details are in the Chat category.

Caution: If you forget to finish a shift, the system will do it for you automatically after 24 hours and change the work status to finished. Your supervisor may then get in touch with you to confirm the actual time you finished work.

How to avoid it

Remember to record the start and end of your shift — how to do it is described in Starting and finishing a shift. More about the system itself is in the RCP System category.

Important: As soon as you notice you forgot to clock in or out, tell your supervisor. A short message is enough to avoid misunderstandings and keep your working time settled accurately.
