The Advisor role in Proplanum

An Advisor supports the organisation across all locations, most often from the HR and payroll side. They monitor the quality of work, settle time records and pay, and have insight into requests and billing information.

The role works broadly — it covers every location in the organisation, without being tied to one workplace.

What you can do

  • Schedule — a view of published schedules and statistics across all locations.
  • Records — monitoring work time, generating exports and reports, configuring time tracking settings.
  • Requests — reviewing, approving and rejecting requests and checking limits. See Who can approve requests?.
  • Tasks — a view of the team's tasks.
  • Team — adding and importing employees, editing details, changing roles (all but Organisation Administrator). See The employee list: columns, filters and bulk actions.
  • Locations — adding and editing locations.
  • Billing — insight into billing information and invoices. See An overview of the billing panel.

Remember: an Advisor has access to the whole organisation, so every change to an employee's or a location's details covers every workplace.

Limits

An Advisor can grant the Employee, Manager, Location Manager and Advisor roles — that is, all but the highest one.

Caution: An Advisor cannot grant the Organisation Administrator role. That role is assigned only by an Organisation Administrator.
