Basic location details settings
Basic details is the first tab of the location editor — here you set its name, code, region, address and work hours. This information describes the location across the system and is the starting point for further configuration (positions, planning, time tracking). The settings can be edited by the Organisation Administrator, the Advisor and the Location Manager.
Opening the editor
- Go to the "Locations" tab in the top bar.
- On the chosen location click the pencil icon ("Edit location") in the row (or the ⋮ menu).
- From the menu on the left choose the "Basic details" tab.

Name and code
At the top of the form you set the location's name and its identifying code.
- Name — the location's full name. A required field; the name has to be unique within the organisation.
- Location code — an optional identifying code. If you fill it in, it has to be unique within the organisation. The code is useful among other things when importing employees — the details are in [What is the location code?](What is the location code?).
Region
In the "Regions" field you assign the location to a region. A region organises the company structure and decides which employees see this location as an additional one — employees assigned to a given region inherit every location in that region.
Choose a region from the dropdown (you can also clear the choice).

Address details
In the "Address details" section you fill in the location's address in four separate fields. From them the system determines a point on the map. The same section also holds the "Description" field.
- Street — the street name and number. A required field.
- Country — chosen from a list. A required field; the country determines how the postcode is validated.
- Postcode — required; the format is checked according to the chosen country (for Poland the code is additionally formatted automatically).
- City — a required field.
In the "Description" field you can add any notes or extra information about the location. The field is optional.
Work hours
In the "Work hours" section you set on which days and at what times the location is open. These hours matter when planning the schedule against demand.
- Tick the box next to a day to mark it as open.
- Set the "From" and "To" hour for that day.
For days that are not ticked, the "From" and "To" fields stay inactive.

Saving changes
Once you have made your changes click "Save". The button becomes active only after a change has been made — the bar shows the status "Unsaved changes" or "No changes to save". If you want to discard the changes you have made, use "Undo changes" — the form will return to its last saved state.
