Work time alerts

If you are an Organization Administrator, Location Manager or Advisor, this article is for you. You will learn what work time alerts are and how to configure them in Proplanum.
Alerts are messages sent to the supervisor that inform about any discrepancies between the scheduled and actual work time.

Benefits of alerts

Thanks to work time alerts, you can quickly respond to issues related to time tracking, which allows for better team management and more accurate settlements. Determine how quickly and about what you want to be informed when it comes to your employees' time tracking.

Configuring work time alert settings

Log in to the web version of Proplanum and go to the “Locations” tab from the toolbar.
Select the location you want to edit by clicking the three-dot icon on the right side and choose “Edit.”

From the left sidebar, select "General".

Remember: The values of the general settings are predefined in the system, but you can edit them as you wish.

Go to the "Work Time Alerts" section.

Specify the recipient of notifications - select the people who will receive alerts about work time events. (all managers or schedule creators).

The "All managers" option means that managers will receive alerts about employees only in the assigned location. The "Schedule creators" option means that the person who created and published the work schedule will receive alerts about employees (the system will automatically send notifications).

Employee lateness - set after how much time from the scheduled start of the shift to send a lateness alert (default 15 minutes).
Early work end - set when the system should send an alert if an employee ends work earlier than planned (default never).
Employee absence on shift - specify after how much time from the scheduled shift to send an absence alert (default never).

Don't forget to click the "Save" button before leaving the company settings.
