Starting work as a Manager

Welcome to Proplanum. This guide shows what you will see after signing in as a Manager and how to start running your team — from schedule planning to handling tasks and work time.

First steps

Once you accept the invitation you sign in through a browser or the mobile app (iOS/Android). On the dashboard you will find the key information about your team, and all the tools are at hand in the left-hand menu.

Remember: the same login and password work both in the browser and in the mobile app.

Schedule

This is where you plan, modify and publish your team's shifts. You can find cover quickly, and once you publish, employees get an automatic notification about the changes.

Remember: you can only edit future periods — past shifts cannot be changed.

More: Schedule Planning.

Time tracking

You have insight into your team's work time — lateness, overtime and early finishes. You can correct and approve entries.

More: Correcting and approving work time.

Requests

This matters: by default you see your team's requests and submit your own, but you do not review them. You can approve, reject and submit requests on employees' behalf only when the "Manager can manage requests" option is turned on in the location settings.

Employee availability makes planning the schedule easier.

Caution: the "Manager can manage requests" option is set by the Organisation Administrator, the Advisor or the Location Manager — per location.

Details: Can a Manager approve employees' requests?.

Tasks

You assign tasks to yourself and to employees — individually or to whole groups — and monitor their statuses.

More: Task Management.

Team and locations

On the "Team" tab you see the list of employees (read-only), and under "Locations" the basic information about your location.

Remember: schedule changes apply and are visible to employees only after publication.
