Yes. Proplanum supports reacting to emergencies with fast schedule editing and automatic notifications for the team. This guide shows how Proplanum helps when plans change overnight, and how to make a correction step by step.


How Proplanum helps in emergencies


The most common example is an employee who has not turned up for a shift. Proplanum helps you react in two ways:


  • Absence notifications — an employee can warn their supervisor in advance through the built-in chat.
  • Manager notifications — if an employee does not start their shift, the manager gets a notification.


How to make the change


  1. Sign in through a browser and go to Schedule.
  2. Make the changes you need.
  3. Click Publish so that the changes become visible to the team.
  4. Employees receive an automatic notification in the mobile app.

Remember: you can only make schedule changes for future periods — past ones cannot be edited.


Caution: Publication is required — until you publish the schedule, the changes do not apply and are not visible in reports, printouts or to employees.
