Correcting and approving work time

If you are a Supervisor, Location Manager, or Organization Administrator, you have the authority to correct your employees' working hours. This feature is useful when an employee forgets to log their working hours. Only a supervisor can make corrections.

If you are starting to use the RCP tool for time tracking and want to get to know it better, we invite you to read the article "Record keeping - getting started". In this article, we will guide you through the process of accepting or rejecting recorded working time entries for your team.

Accepting or Rejecting RCP Entries in a Web Browser

After logging in through the web browser, you will be on the main dashboard of the application.
From the top toolbar, select the “RCP System” tab and the “Time Tracking” option to go to the detailed time tracking of employees.
On the left side, there is a list of employees. Use the search and filter bar, considering the date range and locations.
After selecting a specific employee, a detailed time tracking list will be displayed in the main window of the tool.
The buttons on the right side of each entry are used to manage them. To accept the recorded working time, click the green button. To reject the entry, use the red button.

Remember: You can correct accepted entries if necessary. You will find more information on this topic later in the article.

After accepting or rejecting entries, their status will be updated on the list.

Accepting RCP entries in the mobile application

In the mobile application, you also have access to your employees' RCP system - as a Manager, Location Manager or Organization Administrator.

After logging into the mobile application, you will see a summary of the team's records on the main dashboard, including information on the number of present, absent, and late employees.

Select the "Schedule" icon from the menu, then go to the "Time Registration" tab to see the full record of employees' working hours on specific days.

You can filter data by clicking the button in the top right corner.

After selecting a specific entry, you will see its details in a new window. You can change the status of registered entries.

Important: If you want employee entries in the RCP to be automatically approved by the system, you can configure the appropriate settings in the Locations section. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the article "Work Hours Settings in Location" in the RCP settings area (automatic acceptance of RCP entries settings).

Correcting Registered Work Time

Remember: You can correct your employees' work time only using a web browser. In the mobile app, you can accept or reject entries from registered work time.

After logging in through the web browser, from the top toolbar, select the "RCP System" tab, and then "Records".
On the left side, there is a list of employees. Use the search and filter bar, considering the date range and locations.
After selecting a specific employee, a detailed work time record list will be displayed in the main tool window.

Select the options button (three dots) next to the entry and click "Edit" to open the edit window.

In the new window, on the left side, you will find summary information about the shift, the entry status is visible in the top right corner, while in the main view, you will see detailed information about the shift and its work time, including the start and end, planned and actual work time, and break times.

Make corrections to the actual working time.

Remember: You can correct the working time by changing only the day to the previous or next day and the hour. Select the appropriate criteria from the calendar.

After making the changes, click "Save".

Important: You can only correct entries in the working time records if the entries have the status "Pending" or "Approved". You cannot edit rejected entries.

The Proplanum application allows full control over employees' working time, and the other articles in the RCP section contain detailed information about all the features of this tool.
