Assigning request types to an employee
The "Requests" tab in the employee profile decides which request types (for example annual leave, leave on demand) that person may apply for and how many days they have available. The request types themselves, their short codes and whether they are paid or unpaid are defined once for the whole organisation in Company → Requests — here you only turn them on for a particular employee and, if needed, override the limits.
How to open the Requests tab
The tab sits in the employee editing profile, as the last menu entry. You get to it from here:
- Go to the "Team" tab and find the employee on the list.
- Click the pencil "Edit" icon in the employee's row.
- In the left-hand profile menu pick the "Requests" tab (after "Personal information", "Settings", "Working hours" and "Employment conditions").
The tab only appears for people with the Employee, Manager or Location Manager role — the Organisation Administrator and the Advisor have no employee card in the schedule, so you will not see it in their profiles. The request settings are edited by the Organisation Administrator, the Advisor and the Location Manager.
Turning request types on and off
The list shows every request type defined in the organisation. The employee can only submit the ones you tick here.
- Tick the checkbox next to the request name in the "Request name" column to turn it on for the employee. Clearing it turns the request off.
- Above the table you have a "Search for request" field (a filter by name) and an "Active" / "Archived" filter (it shows the active ones by default). Archived requests are greyed out and their checkbox is disabled.

The "Request shortcut" and "Type" (Paid / Unpaid) columns are informational only — they reflect the definition set at company level.
Setting the pools (days) for limited requests
The pool fields only appear for a request that is turned on and limited (for example annual leave). Requests with no limit only have the enabling checkbox. The pools are expressed in days.
- "Current pool" — the number of days to use in the current period. You edit it freely, for example to correct an employee's current balance.
- "Annual pool" — the number of days granted to the employee at the annual limit reset.
- "From request definition" — a checkbox (ticked by default). When it is ticked, the "Annual pool" is disabled and inherited from the request definition in the organisation.

Here you only set the pool values for a particular employee. The annual reset and carrying unused days over to the next year (carryover) are configured per request type in Company → Requests — see Request limits.
Saving the changes
The bar at the top of the tab shows the "Unsaved changes" / "No changes to save" state. You confirm the changes by hand.
- Make the changes in the table.
- Click "Save" (the button is active only when there are changes). The "Saved successfully" message will appear.
- To undo unsaved changes, use "Revert changes".
If you try to move to another tab with unsaved changes, a warning dialog appears.
The limit change history
Every request has a history icon in its row (tooltip "Show limit change history"). Clicking it opens the "Change history — {request name}" dialog with the "Date", "Event type", "Change" ("old → new" format) and "Performed by" (the user's name or "System") columns. The event types are: Enabled, Disabled, Current pool change, Annual pool change, Carried over to a new year, Annual reset, Import, Manual correction. The dialog is read-only — you close it with the "Close" button.
