Employee availability
Availability lets employees report when they can (or cannot) work, and lets you lay out a schedule that matches those declarations. You configure it separately for each location, so different places can allow different rules for submitting availability. This article is for the Organisation Administrator, the Advisor and the Location Manager.
Configuring availability at a location
You will find the availability settings in the editor of a particular location.
- From the left bar choose Locations.
- Open the location editor — click the pencil icon in the row or click the row itself.
- Go to the "General" tab and find the "Availability" section.

In the "Availability" section you set three things:
- "What employees can submit" — you choose the declaration types employees can report. No type ticked means submitting availability is switched off.
- "Access to the availability feature" — you point to the group the feature is on for: all employees, only those on a mandate contract, or only those on an employment contract.
- "Minimum declaration time" — you set how far in advance (in days) employees can report availability.
Where submitted availability is shown
You will see reported availability in three places.
In the work schedule
In the Work schedule tool open "View options" and tick "Availability" — employees' declarations will appear in the schedule you are planning.

On the "Requests" tab
From the left bar choose Requests and then "Calendar" in the top right corner. You will see the availability employees have declared for the chosen period. The "List view" button returns to the request list.

In the Team module
Go to Team, find the employee in the list, click the options button on the right and choose "Availability calendar". You will see that person's submitted availability for the chosen month.
