Starting work as a Location Manager

This article is intended for team members who serve as Location Managers at Proplanum. The following guide provides information about the functions and capabilities available to users with these permissions.

Introduction



After accepting the invitation to the Proplanum team and logging in using our web or mobile application (iOS/Android), you can start using Proplanum's features.
On the main dashboard, you will find the most important information regarding your team. With the tabs on the toolbar, you can effectively plan and manage your team. If you manage more than one location, you can select it by clicking "Select location" in the upper right corner of the dashboard.


Schedule



The "Schedule" tab is a key tool for planning your team's work. It allows you to:
Plan employees' work, taking into account their preferences and absences.
Quickly find a replacement in emergency situations.
Automatically send notifications about schedule changes to employees.


Tip: Use the automatic schedule generation options and create templates for later use. Plan work based on established working hours or assign unassigned shifts. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

Time and Attendance System



As a Location Manager, you have access to the complete time and attendance records of employees, which allows you to:
Monitor actual working hours, tardiness, overtime, and early departures.
Correct time records and approve or reject changes.
Create exports of time records for payroll and accounting programs.
Install and configure the KIOSK application in Proplanum.

Requests



In the "Requests" tab, you can:
Approve or reject employee leave requests.
View all requests, their details, limits, and history.
Receive notifications about new requests via the app or email (depending on settings).
Employees can submit requests regarding their availability, which facilitates schedule planning.

Tasks



In the "Tasks" tab, you can assign tasks to yourself and other employees, which allows you to:
Organize the work and duties of the staff.
Assign tasks to individual team members or entire groups.
Monitor the status of tasks to oversee timely completion.
Review task details and history, and edit or archive them.

Team



In the "Team" tab, you will find a list of your employees. As a Location Manager, you have the ability to:
Access the list of team members assigned to the managed locations.
Edit employee data and add new team members.
Invite new users and accept invitations.
Search and filter the employee list and set display options for information.

Locations



Location managers can customize their company's location settings, including:
Editing the location name, address, and configuration settings related to scheduling and time management, as well as the team.
