Creating and managing locations
During account setup, you added your company's location. Create the main company location and additional ones. Their number in Proplanum is not limited.
Important: Both Organization Administrators and Advisors can add new locations without any additional costs.
Remember: In Proplanum, "Locations" can refer to different structures depending on your company's specifics. Here are some examples of how you can interpret locations:
Different branches - for example, several stores in different cities.
Different departments - for example, in a large store divided into departments.
Different production lines - for example, in a factory with multiple production lines.
How you decide to interpret locations depends on your company's structure and needs.
After logging into Proplanum through the browser, you will be on the main dashboard.
Select the "Locations" tab from the toolbar. You will see a list of existing locations with assigned addresses, positions, and tags.
Click "Add location" in the upper right corner.
A window will open to enter location data, such as name, code, and address details.
Fill in the data and click "Next". In the next step, you will set positions and tags for the location. You can use the default settings that you previously configured in the company settings (you can find the article on this topic here. or add new ones.
Add employees to the location. You can manually enter employee data at this point or proceed further and later use another option to add users.
When finished, click "Save". The new location will be created and will appear on the list.
To manage locations, select a specific location and click the three-dot icon on the right side to expand the list of options:
Edit - the ability to edit location data.
Duplicate - quickly copy a location with similar parameters.
Copy settings - transfer settings from one location to another.
Work schedule - go to the work schedule of a specific location.
Archive - move the location to the archive.
Important: Remember, you will not be able to restore an archived location
Remember: The above options can only be used by users with Organization Administrator and Advisor permissions. Location Managers can only edit the data of the locations they are assigned to.
