Settings for rates and wages

This article is intended for users with Organization Administrator, Advisor and Location Manager access levels. Employees and Managers do not have permissions to view or edit employment details.

How to set salary details for an employee?

Open your web browser and log in to your Proplanum account.
In the main view of the application, select the "Team" tab.
From the list of employees, select the person for whom you want to configure employment details. Click the options icon (three dots) next to the employee's name and select "Edit" from the list.

A window with the selected employee's personal data will open. From the list on the left, select "Employment Conditions".

In the "Salary Rates" section, set the salary details for the employee.

Setting Salary Rates for Full-Time Employment Contracts

Effective Date of the Rate - set the date from which the given salary rate will be effective. You can set different rates for different time periods. For example, for the first month of a new employee's employment, you can set one rate and then a higher one later. In this case, select the "Add another date range" icon.

Type of Salary Rate - specify the type of employee's salary rate by selecting one of the options from the dropdown list.

Important: The available options for the type of salary rate will depend on the selected form of employment. If your employee has a full-time employment contract, you can only select the "Salary" option in the "Type" window.

Specify the amount of salary that will be paid to the employee in the pay period you specify. You can choose a month or a year, depending on how often you want to make payments.

Setting Wage Rates for a Contract of Mandate

If you have specified the contract type as "Contract of Mandate", in the "Type" window of the employment rate, you will find the available options:

Fixed rate - specify a single fixed hourly rate that will be the same regardless of the day and the number of hours worked.

Hourly rate - set hourly rates that can vary on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Important: You can set different hourly rates for an employee in different positions. To do this, select the "Add position" button and in the next window, enter the hourly rates for the specified position.

Hourly rate + 150% overtime - choose this option if overtime is additionally paid in your company. Enter the hourly rate, and the application will automatically calculate the overtime rate (1.5 times the base rate). This amount will be visible in the „Overtime x1.5 (PLN)” window.

Remember: If your employee has multiple positions assigned, you can set a separate hourly rate for each of them.

Tips for Setting Pay Rates

Choose the type of rates according to the nature of the work and the type of contract the employee has:

Hourly rates - good for temporary and seasonal workers.
Fixed salary - suitable for permanent employees.
Hourly rates + overtime - ideal if your company includes paid overtime. Proplanum will automatically calculate overtime pay, eliminating the need for manual calculations.

With these features in Proplanum, you can easily manage employee salaries, tailoring them to the needs of your company.
