Request limits
Managing leave is a key element in any organization. Electronic leave request systems, such as Proplanum, facilitate effective planning and monitoring of absences and control of leave limits for employees, HR departments, and management. All necessary information is located in one place, allowing for real-time monitoring of current leave limits.
Important: In Proplanum, only Organization Administrators have the ability to set request limits when creating new proposals regarding employee absences.
Request limits are set by the Organization Administrator when creating requests in the "Company Settings" tab in Proplanum. Both unlimited and limited requests can be configured there.
These requests do not have a limited number of days to be used. An example might be a sick leave request, where there is no upper limit on the number of days of absence.
These requests have a set number of days to be used. The number of days in a given request may affect the employee's leave limit, but it does not have to. It all depends on the settings introduced by the Organization Administrator.

Administrators can adjust request limits both at the organization level and individually for each employee. This means that request limits can be changed and specific values can be assigned to selected individuals according to the company's needs.
As an Organization Administrator, set the day limits for each type of request (e.g., vacation leave, sick leave) in your organization. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
Important: Remember that the created request types in your organization must be individually assigned to the employee, depending on their form of employment. This can be done by users with Organization Administrator, Advisor and Location Manager access levels.
Open your web browser and log in to your Proplanum account.
In the main view of the application, select the "Team" tab.
From the list of employees, select the person for whom you want to configure employment details. Click the options icon (three dots) next to the employee's name and select "Edit" from the list.
A window with the selected employee's personal data will open. From the list on the left, select "Employment Conditions"
This section contains detailed settings options regarding the employee's employment conditions and available leave requests. From the list of requests created in your company's settings, select those you want to assign to the employee. This is important when employees submit their leave requests.
Set individual day limits for the selected requests, adjusting them to specific needs. For each assigned request, you can also change its day limit.
Flexibility - the ability to create both limited and unlimited requests allows the system to adapt to different types of absences.
Control - managing limits at the organizational level and individually for employees provides better control over absences and work planning.
Automation - Proplanum automatically monitors and adjusts request limits, making personnel management easier and eliminating the need for manual tracking of days off.
Remember that request limits can always be adjusted to the changing needs of the organization, ensuring the flexibility and efficiency of the system.
