Labor code

In this section, you can configure how to verify compliance with the labor code by employees and determine whether violations should only be communicated or also blocked. These settings can only be made as an Organization Administrator.

After logging into Proplanum, from the main dashboard, go to the "Company Settings" tab in the upper right corner, and then "Labor Code".

Method of verifying the labor code in the schedule

In the Proplanum system, you can customize the form of messages you receive when planning and creating work schedules. Choose the notification option that best meets the needs of your company and its employees to ensure effective communication and work organization.

Disabled consideration of labor code regulations - this means that the system will not check the compliance of schedules with the applicable labor law regulations. To do this, move the slider in the settings and disable this option. This way, you will be able to create work schedules according to your own needs and preferences, without restrictions resulting from the labor code.
Only notifications - the system will inform about labor code violations but will not take any blocking actions.
Notifications and blocking - the system will inform about violations and block actions that violate the labor code. A work schedule that violates labor code regulations will not be published.

Labor Code Rules

Below you can configure detailed rules regarding compliance with the labor code in your company. You can select all the rules or only those that interest you.

Violation of the working day
If an employee works more than one shift within the same working day, the Proplanum system will signal a violation. The system will inform about situations where the set time value, default 24 hours, does not elapse between the start of one shift and the next shift.

Exceeded number of hours per day
The system will monitor whether the employee does not work more than the maximum allowable number of hours per day. It will notify when the employee's shift exceeds the set value, default 8 hours.

Breaks between daily shifts
The system ensures that the employee has an appropriate rest break between consecutive daily shifts. A break must be provided between shifts, default 11 hours.

Exceeded number of hours per week
The system monitors whether an employee exceeds the maximum number of working hours per week. It will notify about exceeding the set value, by default 40 hours.

Weekly rest
The system monitors whether an employee is provided with the required weekly rest. It informs about situations when the amount of rest hours falls below the set value, by default 35 hours.

These rules help manage employees' working and rest time, ensuring compliance with the labor code. They allow for effective work schedule planning and taking care of employees' health and safety. Thanks to the Proplanum system, managers can easily monitor and correct any violations, contributing to better human resource management.

Visibility of notifications about labor code violations

Notifications only
If you select the "Notifications only" option in the company settings, notifications about labor code violations will be visible when creating a work schedule. An orange dot will appear next to the employee who has a violation. Clicking on the dot will display a window with violation notifications, informing which day and which regulation it concerns.

Remember: Despite these notifications, you will still be able to publish the schedule.

Important: Notifications are only visible to supervisors, and employees will not see them.

Notifications and blocking
If you select the "Notifications and blocking" option, during the creation of the schedule and clicking the "Publish" button, the system will send a notification about violations and will not allow adding the shift and publishing the schedule until the errors are corrected.
