Assigning positions and tags
After configuring the general company settings, the next step is to create a list of positions and tags in your organization. Below you will find detailed instructions on how to do this.
- Log in to Proplanum.
- From the main dashboard, select "Company Settings" in the top right corner, and then from the dropdown list, select "Positions and Tags".
- In the new window, you will see a list of positions and tags created in your company.
Adding a new position
- Click the "Add position" button.
- In the new window, enter the position details.
- Enter the position name and choose a color for it. The position in this color will be visible in the planned work schedule.
- Specify whether the position will count towards working hours (i.e., shifts in this position will be included in the calculations and employees will be paid for them).
- Decide whether the position should be default, which means it will be automatically assigned to all employees in a given location.
- Click "Add" to save the new position. It will appear on the list of positions.
Use the edit and delete buttons to adjust existing positions to meet your company's needs.
Creating tags
Tags in Proplanum allow for efficient management of the employee database. You can use tags to mark employees by department, type of employment, special permissions, and other important categories.
- Go to the "Tags" tab in the company settings.
- Click the "Add Tag" button.
- Enter the tag name and click "Add". The new tag will appear on the list.
You can edit or delete tags as needed.
Proplanum allows flexible company management, enabling you to quickly and efficiently configure all necessary settings to tailor them to the specific needs of your organization.
