Configuring a company account

As an Organization Administrator, you manage the entirety of operations, system configuration, and support for all users. You are responsible for human resources management, system settings, and billing. Configuring the company account is one of the first tasks you need to perform after setting up the organization account in the system. The company settings will affect your entire team and all company locations. The information entered will serve as the foundation for the entire system, enabling effective task management, planning, and communication within the organization. Remember that correct configuration at the beginning is crucial, as its elements will become the default settings that can be modified later as needed.

If you have already registered and activated your account, you can create an organization. After logging in as an Organization Administrator, you will find yourself on the Proplanum welcome screen. You can decide whether you want to use the system introduction or skip it and proceed to work on the platform. You can configure your own profile and the organization profile.

General Settings - set your company's basic information, such as name, address, contact details, contact persons, and VAT invoice data.
Configure global organization settings, such as the start day of the workweek, time format, country, currency, time zone, and date format.

Positions and Tags - create positions and tags that will be used in your company.

Requests - create and configure types of requests (e.g., vacations, sick leaves) that will be applicable in the organization, which you will then assign to your employees. Guidelines on how to assign types of requests to your employees can be found here.

Holidays - specify which holidays will be applicable in your company.

Labor Code - specify the labor code regulations that will apply in your company, which will be important when creating work schedules. Also, choose the method of sending labor code-related communications.

After completing the company settings configuration, you can proceed further. The next step will be to create locations if they exist in your organization. Information on how to do this can be found here.

Remember: In Proplanum, "Locations" can refer to different structures depending on the specifics of your company. Here are some examples of how you can interpret locations:
Different facilities - for example, several stores in different cities.
Different departments - for example, in a large store divided into departments.
Different production lines - for example, in a factory with multiple production lines.
How you choose to interpret locations depends on the structure and needs of your company.

If you do not need to create separate locations, you can proceed directly to the next step, which is creating a team. Learn more about creating a team in Proplanum here .
