# Who can submit a leave request?

In Proplanum a request for leave or another absence can be submitted by almost every user — the scope depends on the role. Here you will find who can submit requests and on whose behalf. # Who can submit requests

| Important: Requests can be submitted by every role **except an Advisor**. The available request types depend on what has been assigned to the employee's account.

* **Employee** — submits requests **only for themselves**.
* **Manager** — submits requests for themselves and for the employees they manage.
* **Location Manager** — submits requests for themselves and for the employees at their location; additionally approves or rejects requests.
* **Organisation Administrator** — full permissions across the whole organisation.
* **Advisor** — **does not submit** requests.

# Submitting on an employee's behalf

A supervisor can submit a request for an employee, for example for leave on demand or sick leave. The condition: the employee has that request type assigned and a free limit.
