# The Organisation Administrator role in Proplanum

The Organisation Administrator is the highest level of access in Proplanum, usually assigned to the company owner. They build the structure of the company and the team, configure every tool and take responsibility for system settings, licences and billing. No other role has such broad permissions.

# What you can do

The Organisation Administrator has the full range of permissions across the system:

- full company configuration — the company settings are under the cog at the bottom of the left-hand menu
- managing users and granting every role (from Employee up to Organisation Administrator)
- creating and editing locations
- Schedule, time tracking, Requests and Tasks at every location
- full team management, including import from a file and permanent deletion of employees
- Billing and licences — choose "Billing" in the left-hand sidebar to manage the plan, cards and invoices ([an overview of the billing panel](https://help.proplanum.com/en/article/an-overview-of-the-billing-panel-12n4ui8/))

# The lock on your own account

An Organisation Administrator cannot take permissions away from themselves. When editing your own profile you cannot change your role or set yourself to Inactive or Archived — the relevant fields are locked.

| Important: To change an administrator's role or status, another Organisation Administrator has to do it. The lock protects the organisation against losing its only administrator, and it applies to bulk actions too.
