# The Location Manager role in Proplanum

A Location Manager runs every aspect of operations at the locations assigned to them — staff, schedules, time tracking, requests and results. They also oversee the Managers working in their units. It is an operational role with full control over their locations, but limited strictly to them.

# What you can do

At your locations you have available:

- **Schedule** — planning, modifying and publishing schedules.
- **Time tracking** — monitoring work time and configuring the location's time tracking settings.
- **Requests** — reviewing, approving and rejecting employees' requests.
- **Tasks** — creating and assigning tasks.
- **Team** — adding and editing employees and [changing their roles](https://help.proplanum.com/en/article/changing-an-employees-role-access-level-n9zrcc/). See also [the employee list: columns, filters and bulk actions](https://help.proplanum.com/en/article/the-employee-list-columns-filters-and-bulk-actions-1qldire/).
- **Locations** — editing your locations and their settings.

|| Remember: when granting a role you can assign a level equal to or lower than your own — for a Location Manager these are Employee, Manager and Location Manager.

# Limits

A Location Manager works strictly within the locations assigned to them — the whole organisation is not in their scope. On top of that, there are three actions they do not perform:

- they do not add employees by importing from a file,
- they do not delete employees permanently,
- they do not grant the Organisation Administrator role.

||| Caution: these three actions are reserved for the Organisation Administrator and the Advisor.
