# How do I find out about changes to the schedule?

Proplanum makes sure you know about every change to your schedule — there is no need to keep checking it by hand. When a Manager adds a shift for you, moves it or changes something, the system sends a notification automatically. Once logged in, you always have a full view of your planned schedule as well.

# Where the notification comes from

Notifications about schedule changes reach you through two channels:

* **The app** — the notification appears in Proplanum itself (in a browser and in the mobile app).
* **Mail** — the same notification goes to your e-mail address.

|| Tip: You decide yourself which channels you want notifications through and for which events — see [Managing notifications in Proplanum](https://help.proplanum.com/en/article/managing-notifications-fp9arl/).

# What Proplanum tells you about

You can turn notifications on for, among other things:

* a new work schedule being created,
* updates to the work schedule (a shift of yours being moved or changed, for example),
* changes to the status of leave requests,
* new tasks.

||| Caution: To receive notifications in the mobile app, you have to have it installed on your phone. E-mail notifications work regardless of the app.
