Changing the status of tasks

Every task has a status showing how far it has progressed. It is changed by the assigned employee and by supervisors, which lets you keep an eye on whether obligations are being met on time.

Task statuses

  • Not started (blue) — the task has not been started yet
  • In progress (orange) — the task has been started but is not finished
  • Completed (green) — the task has been done
  • Rejected (red) — the task has been rejected

The status applies only to the "Task" kind. "Information" is a message with no status.

Changing the status in the browser

  1. Open "Tasks" in the left-hand menu and filter the date range to find the task.
  2. Click the three-dot icon at the end of the row and choose "Details".
  3. In the details window choose the new status.
  4. Confirm the change.

Changing the status in the mobile app

Open "Tasks", choose the task, pick the new status in the status section and confirm.

You change the status in exactly the same way in the browser and in the mobile app.

Tasks with subtasks

If a task has subtasks, change the statuses of the individual subtasks first. The main task's status will change to "Completed" automatically once all subtasks are finished.

You cannot manually set a task to "Completed" until all of its subtasks are finished.

Oversight by supervisors

The Manager, the Location Manager and the Organisation Administrator see, in one place, the details of tasks, the people assigned and the statuses of all scheduled and archived tasks.

This makes it easy to check who has what to do, and to react to a backlog as it appears.
