# Can I assign one task to several people?

Yes — in the "Assigned people" field you choose any number of people. By default one shared task is created, but you can also create a separate copy for each person when you want to track progress individually.

# A shared task

If you choose several people and leave the "Create as separate tasks for each person" option switched off, one task shared by everyone assigned is created.

# Separate tasks for each person

Tick "Create as separate tasks for each person" — the option appears when the kind is "Task" and more than one person has been chosen. Every employee gets their own copy of the task, so you can track progress individually.

|| Remember: the option applies to the "Task" kind — information is simply sent to all the chosen people.
